SATURDAY

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

Reporting party stated that a vehicle had passed him in a no passing zone. Reporting party knew who the driver was and wanted the incident documented. A report was completed.

REPORT OF AN ALARM

City — false alarm.

REPORT OF A HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

City — reporting party stated that a vehicle had struck her vehicle causing damage to the bumper. The striking vehicle had fled the scene. A report was completed.

REPORT OF A SEXUAL ASSAULT

City — officer received a report of an individual who had been sexually assaulted. Investigation continues.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK

City — officer reported that the person was located and was fine.

REPORT OF A THEFT

City — reporting party stated that while his truck was parked and unattended in a local parking lot, someone had stolen several items out of the bed of the truck. Investigation continues.

REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Reporting party stated that she had a popup on her computer that showed child pornography. The reporting party wanted the incident documented. A report was completed.

REPORT OF A BARKING DOG

City — the owner of the dog was contacted and advised of the problem. The owner is taking preventative measures to keep the dog from barking.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT

Officer received a report of several juveniles who were approached by an unknown male. Officer contacted all the parties involved and reported that the incident was a misunderstanding.

REPORT OF A RECKLESS DRIVER

City — the area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

REPORT OF A PROWLER

City — the area was patrolled, but no one was located.

REPORT OF AN ALARM

City — false alarm.

REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM

City — officer reported that during a traffic stop on a vehicle a local juvenile was detained for use of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was later released to her parent. A report will be sent to Juvenile Probation.

REPORT OF A MISSING VEHICLE

City — reporting party stated that his girlfriend took his vehicle and hasn’t returned it. Officers are attempting to locate the girlfriend and vehicle.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK

City — officer contacted the person who denied that he was going to harm himself. Officer documented the incident and no other problems were reported.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

City — officer contacted the owner of the vehicle and he was advised not to camp in the area.

REPORT OF A DOG AT LARGE

City — officer reported that the dog was captured and taken to the Ely Dog Pound.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK

Officer attempted to locate the person, but he had left the area.

REPORT OF DOGS AT LARGE

City — officer reported that the owner had picked up the dogs. The owner reported that they had gotten out of their yard.

REPORT OF A PARKING PROBLEM

Officer located the vehicle and reported that it was tagged for removal.

REPORT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE

Officer contacted the owner of the property and she was issued a citation for public nuisance, due to the amount of garbage that had accumulated on the property.

REPORT OF A POSSIBLE DRUNK DRIVER

The area was patrolled, but the vehicle was not located.

REPORT OF AN ARREST

City — officer reported that [NAME WITHHELD] age 29 of Ely was arrested on a probation violation.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

Officer contacted the parties involved and during his investigation arrested [NAME WITHHELD] age 39 of McGill for domestic battery. [NAME WITHHELD] is accused of battering his girlfriend.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

Officer located the vehicle and checked the area. Investigation into the situation continues.

REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

City — officer received a report of an adult who had given a juvenile marijuana. The adult was contacted and issued a citation for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The juvenile was contacted and the marijuana was seized. A report will be sent to Juvenile Probation reference the juvenile being involved.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH SEVERAL SUBJECTS

City — reporting party stated that several individuals had ordered and ate a meal at a local restaurant. The subjects were then refusing to pay. The subjects were contacted, who paid for their meals. They were then trespassed from the establishment.

REPORT OF A BARKING DOG

City — the dog was located, but the owners of the dog were not at home. They will be contacted at a later date.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

City — reporting party stated that an individual was on his property and was acting suspicious. The reporting party wanted the person trespassed. The individual was contacted and advised he was trespassed from the property.
