REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM:

City – the reporting party claimed his son kept running away and wasn’t following the rules.  The juvenile was advised of the repercussions if his actions continued.

REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE:

City – the vehicle was checked and was okay.

REPORT OF A HABITUAL TRUANT:

City – a student was deemed a habitual truant and will be issued a citation.

REPORT OF ELDERLY ABUSE:

City – the reporting party believes a person is exploiting one of her family members, who is over the age of 60.  The investigation continues.

REPORT OF AN ARREST:

City – [NAME WITHHELD], age 31, of Ely, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

REPORT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE:

The suspect was contacted and he advised he’d clean up the trash in and around his property within a week.

REPORT OF A RUNAWAY JUVENILE:

City – the reporting party claimed his juvenile son had run away from home again.  The juvenile was located the next day and transported to the Elko Juvenile Detention Facility.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC BATTERY:

City – deputies determined 33 year old Ely resident [NAME WITHHELD] used force or violence against a person with whom she was in a dating relationship.  She was arrested within 24 hours of the battery.
