White Pine County Sheriff’s Office || Blotter Report, June 6th ’19

REPORT OF A STOLEN VEHICLE

Officer received a report of two stolen vehicles that had been parked in front of a residence in McGill. The reporting party stated that a rental truck and his personal car had been stolen while they were parked in front of his home. Officer reported that the rental vehicle was located several blocks away from the reporting parties’ home, but the other vehicle is still missing. Investigation into the incident continues.

REPORT OF A THEFT

Reporting party stated that the license plate from his vehicle had been removed. Officer reported that it was later located several blocks away laying in some bushes.

REPORT OF A FRAUD

City — reporting party stated that a customer at his place of employment had passed two fake one hundred dollar bills. The fake currency had been used to purchase items from the business. Investigation continues.

REPORT OF A PARKING PROBLEM

City — reporting party stated that someone had abandoned a vehicle in the parking lot at his place of employment. The reporting party was advised he could have the vehicle removed by a tow company.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

City — reporting party stated that an individual keeps coming to her home and to her place of employment and causing a disturbance. The reporting party wanted the person trespassed from both establishment. Contact was made with the person and she was advised she was trespassed.

REPORT OF AN ARREST

City — officer reported that [NAME WITHHELD] age 23 of Ely was arrested on an Ely Municipal Court warrant.

REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT

City — officer received a report of several juveniles asking people for money. Officer contacted the individuals and advised them they could not solicit.

REPORT OF AN OPEN DOOR

Officer received a report of an open door on a closed business. The business was checked and the door secured.  No problems were located.

REPORT OF A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

City — officer contacted the parties involved and reported that they were arguing over how long each of them spent in the bathroom. They were advised to keep the peace.

REPORT OF A THEFT

City — reporting party stated that someone had stolen his bicycle. The incident was documented.

REPORT OF AN ARREST

City — officer reported that [NAME WITHHELD] age 35 of Ruth was arrested on an Ely Municipal Court warrant.

REPORT OF A MOTORCYCLE DISTURBANCE

City — the area was patrolled, but the motorcycles were not located.

REPORT OF A WELFARE CHECK

The individual was contacted who stated that she was fine. She requested no assistance.

REPORT OF AN ALARM

False alarm

REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

Reporting party stated that she observed a light on in a vacant home. The home was checked and no problems were located.

REPORT OF A NOISE DISTURBANCE

City — officer contacted the owner of the business and advised them of the complaint. The business addressed the problem.
