My name is Art Meecham, Owner of Ely Disposal.
I would like to know why, after all the input we have provided to the City Council and Utility Board, no one has listened to us.
You interview the Mayor and what she said does cover the issue. Our customers will be paying twice to use the landfill.
They are using residents that do pay to subsidize those that do not and have created an unfair environment for my business.
We will have to raise our rates. They are using my business and their customers to cover their shortfall. This is discrimination any way you look at it.
I would ask that all facts are covered.
