The White Pine County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that we have received grant funding to participate in the Joining Forces Program. The Department of Public Safety-Office of Traffic Safety awarded $23,000. to the Sheriff’s Office for the grant period of October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. The grant is to support law enforcement’s participation in the Joining Forces traffic safety campaigns during the coming year. Joining Forces is a high visibility, multi-jurisdiction statewide effort to increase safety on Nevada’s roads by increasing enforcement and awareness of traffic laws.
