The campsite itself is nestled in the Schell Creek Range surrounded by Alder, Pinyon Pine, and Juniper Forest. East Creek Campground near Ely, Nevada has a perineal creek flowing through the middle of the seven campsites. There are also vaulted toilets available. One bathroom is located at the entrance of the campground near campsites 1-3 and one bathroom is located toward the top of the campground near campsites 4-7. If you follow the un-maintained road up above the campground you might even find an underground mine and turn of the century homestead. Although, the mine and homestead may be difficult to find because of the relatively recent road closures for motorized vehicles.

WHITE PINE LIVING’S CHOICE SITE RECOMMENDATIONS…..
Campsite #1 is the best for a small single family camping adventure. It has a bridge that goes over East Creek that separates the campsite from the road. It is also nestled up against the mountain offering awesome wind blockage on typical Nevada windy days.
Campsite #7 is ideal for large gatherings. This location offers plenty of space for several tents. It also offers plenty of space to park.
