Cave Lake State Park is a hidden gem settled just south of Ely, Nevada a few miles off of US Highway 93. The main attraction is the 32 acre lake where visitors enjoy fishing, swimming and the outdoors. Camping is also available at either of the parks two campgrounds. If you are looking for some moderate hiking, take advantage of any of the parks four trails.
The lake is also open for ice fishing, ice skating and White Pine Counties annual Fire and Ice festival. This one of a kind event attracts ice sculptors near and far to compete for a one thousand dollar grand price. The three day event ends with a fireworks show on the ice!
